About John and Misty

John was born in Georgia and raised in Raleigh, NC. Misty is a North Carolina native – born and raised in good ole' Franklin County. They now reside in Wake County with their two beautiful children.

Beginning his career with Stock Building Supply in 1993, John has over 25 years of experience in building materials/construction sales, building, investing, selling and flipping homes and is also a licensed General Contractor. With all his years of experience, he pursued real estate and was licensed in 2016.

​Misty has always possessed a passion for helping people and pursued a degree in social work, graduating with a BSW from East Carolina University in 1996. After graduating, she started her career with the state of North Carolina and served 19 years in various criminal justice/social work roles. In her younger years, she always had fun part-time side jobs working in retail and hospitality positions that gave great experience in customer service. Given her husband’s experience working in the construction industry and custom builders, it guided her to the awesome field of Real Estate and she was licensed in 2011.

Outside of their passion for Real Estate, they are active members in their church and community, enjoy exercising, competitive sports/games, beach trips and spending quality time with family and friends.
